Owen Sansom is a DMM Monitoring Editor and co-organiser of the 2024 DMM Journal Meeting. Owen is the Director of CRUK Scotland Institute, UK, where his research has been key in determining the molecular hallmarks of colorectal cancer and defining the roles of APC, WNT signalling and intestinal stem cells in tumourigenesis.

Brilliant news that the Tobacco & Vapes Bill has just been voted through its legislative consent motion in the @parliament.scot. This is a huge step towards a #SmokefreeUK after a similar @niassembly.gov.uk vote in February and we now hope to see @senedd.wales follow suit.
