The URA's offices are closed Thursday, Dec. 25, in observance of Christmas. The offices are also closed from Monday, Dec. 29, 2025, through Friday, Jan. 2, 2026.

Regular business hours will resume on Monday, Jan. 5, 2026. If you need immediate assistance, please reach out as soon as possible.

Our riverfronts deserve so much more. Esplanade is remaking a brownfield site into a destination that Pittsburghers will enjoy for decades to come.

There’s a lot to love about the new Mosaic Apartments in Oakland! With support from the City of Pittsburgh’s Housing Opportunity Fund — a critical tool for expanding affordable housing — this new development brings 48 affordable, LGBTQ+ friendly homes for our senior neighbors.

Over 300 new trees were planted at the fully remediated slag heap in Swisshelm Park. All trees cut down to remediate the site were replaced, and we planted a few extra to go above and beyond for our city and our neighbors.

We think new housing is cool. But new housing that respects the neighborhood and prevents displacement? That's pretty cool, too.

25 Meadow St. in Larimer is getting some love thanks to the Local Share Account. The Local Share Account uses funds from gaming revenues around the state to support projects that benefit Pennsylvania. Applications for LSA grants are due November 7.

The rendering shows it will become a small, one story building that will support a commercial tenant. There is brick on the front of the building and an aluminum or vinyl siding on the side of the building. There are large windows in the front of the store.

On Wednesday, October 1, our Commercial Lending team will be in the West End and North Side to let local business owners know about our loan programs and technical assistance. If your business is starting from the ground floor or just fixing a leak in the roof, we can help you out.

Can you say "Q2 flew" ten times fast?
An infographic for the URA's quarterly outputs in Q2 of 2025. Here are some of the ways the URA has supported folks in Pittsburgh: 493 renters and homeowners received legal assistance; 21 new homeowners were supported from URA programs; 87% of residential borrowers were women or POC; 73% of commercial loan borrowers were women or POC; 24 businesses received technical assistance; 2.4 million dollars in URA investment created or preserved 33 housing units; 1.7 million dollars in URA or InvestPGH loans and grants supported 13 small businesses; and 215,000 dollars in URA investment went to maintaining 1258 lots across the city.
