The URA's offices are closed Thursday, Dec. 25, in observance of Christmas. The offices are also closed from Monday, Dec. 29, 2025, through Friday, Jan. 2, 2026.

The Housing Stabilization Center is temporarily closed throughout the month of December. The HSC expects to reopen in January to resume in-person help for people applying for rental assistance. To apply call 412-248-0021.

Over 300 new trees were planted at the fully remediated slag heap in Swisshelm Park. All trees cut down to remediate the site were replaced, and we planted a few extra to go above and beyond for our city and our neighbors.

25 Meadow St. in Larimer is getting some love thanks to the Local Share Account. The Local Share Account uses funds from gaming revenues around the state to support projects that benefit Pennsylvania. Applications for LSA grants are due November 7.
