Another day, another Greens policy adopted by Labor - which announced this today - having done nothing in the last three years. That’s how much they care about folks doing it tough. #politas

Congratulations to FAB Fremantle Council which has voted to implement a Fossil Ad Ban on its property and events.

It's a first for Western Australia and a signal that the fossil fuel era is coming to an end.

Forests - terrestrial & marine.

Half this continent's forests destroyed in the c.200 years since colonisation.

***95%*** of Lutruwita's (Tasmania's) kelp forests destroyed by exploitation & heating sea. #politas

Half this continent's forests destroyed since colonisation. Australia the only 'developed' country that's a deforestation hotspot.

Forests are some of the richest ecosystems. Protecting them is one of the best combined climate and nature solutions.

Shocked to see this ad on SBS news - Glencore reps talking up coal & then on to sunny beach, talking up nickel in sunscreen!

How can SBS broadcast greenwash ads saying fossil fuels are necessary or beneficial? Which agency made this ad @commsdeclare.bsky.social?

Giant trees continue to be logged out of existence by Forestry Tas ie Tasmania's Govt.

Instead of turning giant trees into revenue-generating destinations anyone can visit they're still being turned into loss-making woodchips.
