One bus appears to be stuck behind a car parked in a loading bay blocking the bus lane, while on the other side a taxi with its magic parking lights on is blocking a lane. Plus ca change!

Edinburgh LS have long since gone rogue. Continuous footways (with or without cycle tracks) done well is more complex than some would realise (because there are network-level issues) and we don't have UK guidance (yet).

Do they have similar issues if “passengers must cross a carriageway to get on or off a bus”, or do they think folk only get on or of buses on the same side of the road as they are on, or want to get to? Maybe buses need to have doors on both sides, and bus stops be on alternating sides of the road.
