this is the same mentality that made the 2014 olympic team completely irrelevant. and usa has so many better players now than then and they’ve decided to shoot themselves in the foot by not bringing them.
Other worse players can “check” but they can’t score even close to the level that Robertson can. Total boomer mentality. It’s not the 1990s anymore.

There are people doing the long, hard, unglamorous work of trying to shift things for the better in male sports cultures, particularly in hockey. It is a disservice to their efforts to pretend that real systemic problems can/have been solved by a six-episode TV show.
