You load sixteen tons, what do you get?
Another day older and deeper in debt
Saint Peter, don't you call me, 'cause I can't go
I owe my soul to the company store

this is just rank cowardice, the student very obviously disregarded the instructions and the assignment to antagonize her peers and instructors and provoke this exact reaction, society simply can’t function when the people in charge scurry like kicked dogs every time some troll bully says boo

When we redid our kitchen, we bought a plumbed instant hot water heater that sits beneath our sink and runs to a secondary tap. I cannot recommend such a setup enough for anyone who drinks far too much tea and wants it NOW.

Every day I think about how if there was a Democrat as president and each time something happened he was just “ya I donno lmfao”, the press would eat him alive, but stuff like this doesn’t even make it into a single paper.

I’d push back that it’s due to something far more insidious - all major news outlets being owned by billionaires who have given very specific guidance on how to run newsrooms.

Consultants to democrats - what if we modulated the anger a bit

Actually progressives who win - what if we created more rallies for trans people

The consultants are the problems - screams into the void

It might be time we admitted that the project of the NYTimes et all has little to do with informing the public and everything to do with making money while having a veneer of looking like news. It does not even aspire to be informative to its readers. That is 100% not its goal.

The absolute obsession of centrist democrats to worship at the altar of the most boring billionaires ever as guided there by the consultant class.

Also if a president is impossible to impeach and can also pardon anyone —- it’s bad. This isn’t hard to understand if you have an IQ above 7.

If we are being totally honest about intention, the goal of most politicians on the right is to break immigration so that getting in takes forever. The goals on the left are diverse but without a cohesive strategy and a lot of collaboration on the left, we absolutely cannot move forward on this.

So weird that doing everything in their power to fuck everyone but the billionaire class has made them unpopular- I’m sure they’ll learn their lesson because they’ll face meaningful consequences 🥴🥴🥴🥴🥴🥴

Gosh what if the hatch act —- existed

And by work I mean quickly let in people who very much deserve the chance to live here and stop the small percentage of people who have meaningful issues that may prevent them being allowed in.

Can definitely confirm being married to someone in immigration law that the complexities of immigration are known to very few. There is so much opportunity to simplify our approach as well as hire at the right capacity to enable the system to even remotely work —-

Fired is a good start. Thrown in a hole is an excellent next step.

It would be great if propublica or some other real collection of journalists did some sort of long form article on how the NYTimes et al is incapable of not enabling fascists in the White House on the daily.
