I am a future contender for "Dumb Ways to Die" aren't I?
I just gasped reflexively at the cuteness of an animal while eating dinner and it caused me to choke.
Debating keeping a log of all the dumb, improbable stuff that seems to happen to me as I'm just doing normal things. For instance, a puff of cereal dust came up into my face and stuck to my mascara and eyeliner- forcing me to step away and pry my left eye open before I finished getting food.

It just occurred to me that I missed the Jurassic Park hype when it first came out because:
a) I was seven
b) I didn't like dinosaurs
c) Even as an adult, I just want Jeff Goldblum's character to shut the fuck up...

I'm exhausted and I don't know where else to put this, but I'm honestly so burned out on every single social platform + Amazon. I'm ending up backing away from them because it's just such a shit experience everywhere.

According to in-game lore, early-on The Prototype hid in a camera blindspot in his room and jumped the person who came in to check on him, so... either we're going to learn he's since made himself bigger, OR we get to hear Mob explain how a crab-legged automaton the size of a backhoe can stealth.

This year I published my first eBook "The Wrong Ones" and recorded a speedpaint of me painting the cover (and then the finished product) I'm very happy with how everything turned out! All in all, not a bad year!

Advice to get out of hyperfocus be like "set an alarm" but when I'm in that mode I don't even notice the alarm beyond a dim acknowledgement that there's an annoying noise somewhere in the room.

I use Instagram with so much reluctance I wish I could make a joke about it but I can't. It's *really* not a good place for artists of any kind, imo.

Oh god wtf?
btw i became aware of something horrifying last night. instagram is now using ai to translate reels audio into different languages. but not only are they changing the audio, they use ai to change the mouth movements so that it looks real🫠
