Been playing around with PSVR2 over the past few weeks after picking one up during the holiday sales. Playing on both PS5 and PC, it really is an experience. Spent a few hours getting Skyrim modded with no issues (finger crossed) to get a proper VR RPG experience. The immersion is something else.

Working my way through the Metroid Prime Trilogy before getting too deep into 4. Finally finished 2. Was good, not as good as 1, would not recommend going on holiday to Dark Aether, emperor ing was a little tricky at first. Ending against Dark Samus was good.

Decided to get the PSP back out recently, had a surprise when the battery cover popped off when taking it out of the case, battery had swollen and cracked. First time encountering that. New battery and a 128gb micro sd card later, feels good to play on a PSP again.

Bought the new Omega M hairstyle for both my hrothgar characters, looks good on both but my word do female hrothgar rock this hairstyle.

I’m already struggling for storage space on glamour items as it is. Theres plenty of nice gatherer/crafter pieces I need now, like that one blacksmith bandage top :D

The FFXIV team did it, they broke the glass and hit the button and are removed job/role restriction on glamour.

The team is relaxing a long-held policy of certain types of gear glamour only being equip-able by certain roles. "Use any gear in your glamour, irrespective of class, job or level restriction." However, weapons/tools are exempt due to animations.

Bought a few packs of the new Pokemon mega evolution set, first pack had the Yveltal and Houndstone, finished the last pack with the Mega Latias EX. Pretty happy with those pulls :)

Treated myself to a new colour in the Nike SB shoes I like, changed the laces out to a neon yellow to go with the purple.

I really need to catch up with the MSQ and raids for FFXIV. Still need to finish the 2nd tier of 8-man, the post raid story for 24-man raid and all the post MSQ. Oh don’t forget the lvl 100 dungeons too, only did one straight after the MSQ ended.

Well I was looking forward to the Front Mission 3 remake but after seeing the gen ai images for the cutscenes? Yeah, nah. I think I’ll stick with the PS1 classic on my PS3 thanks.

That State of Play was nothing but hit after hit. Can’t wait for FF Tactics. The inly negative I have is that the new Thief game is VR, which looks really good but won’t be able to play it.

The new PS3 super slim seems to be going well. Still downloading stuff to fill the 1TB HDD. Needed a little wipe down and dusting, the controller though…..never have I seen a controller that dirty. Needed a complete teardown to get all the grime and even dead bugs out 🤢

Looks like my fat PS3 may have finally bit the dust for playing physical games. It won’t take in any discs, I’ve opened it up and made sure the connections are seated fine. If it doesn’t work the drive or something inside it may have gone. May just be easier to buy a used slim from a local CEX.

Dunno if I’ll be getting Switch 2 on release, probably gonna be a mad rush like with any new console launch. Still apprehensive about a few things though, like if backwards compatibility will improve fps by default and let games hit there targets, pro controller, game prices, digital key card
