There's at least one neat "artist alley" shop I learned about downtown that changes over their theme every month and brings in new work by local artists.... I asked how people sign up or join their artist pool, and learned they exclusively browse portfolios on Instagram.😔

it goes without saying that there will necessarily be some days where you're dog tired and the idea of making art seems like the opposite of fun. that's okay.
to complete a longform project you will have to push through some of those days. but if every day feels like that then stop

You are absolutely right about that, except the even worse part is that these also aren't mine, because they're actual screenshots (sent to me by static mates).... MY pictures are taken by pointing my (not good) phone camera at my tv screen, because I'm scared of the PS5 file storage system
