ASSORTED CRISIS EVENTS has been my series of the year. A future where a time crisis is bleeding into everyone's lives. Stories about folks just trying to live as the fantastic bleeds into their lives - time sliding around them. The first five issues are out - and the first collection is on its way.

ATOM. Urasawa's Pluto was my first manga, after years of friends telling me to read it. It's one of my favorite books, and I search out everything Urasawa's done now. It opened up the way I look at comics in a huge way.
