Basically emulating the era of Sabbath I grew up with. When I saw them in 2001 Iommi used a black and a red SG. While not exactly like his they have that vibe.

The bass accents during the intro and the break for the turnaround to the 3rd verse aren’t that audible either, or at least they lack “oomph”

Well Axl sounds really weird now so you’re in luck there lol. With the thrash bands it was more about attitude than technical ability. None of them were great singers but they fit their bands.
