And this is important to make visible and call it abuse and an act of violence because there are parents and caregivers across entire political spectrum that believe language deprivation will force the deaf/hard of hearing person to learn lip reading or some other magical form of communication.

I’m sorry but it is abusive and an act of violence to refuse deaf and hard of hearing people access to language. When the president refuses sign language interpreters for his speeches, he is being violent and modeling abusive behavior for parents and caregivers of deaf and hard of hearing people.

I need help. My landlord says that the cats I am fostering have to go. I am extremely upset about this for multiple reasons but I need help finding a place for them now. There are 4 of them, 2 must be kept together. They are very loving cats but also need things to scratch & play with.
