We got new wall furniture for our cats to give them more places to sleep in the main bedroom. Both our adult cats have flopped out under it like this.

One of our two cats chose me, and the other chose my kid. This devastated my cat loving husband, so today, we went to a local adoption event and had him pick out his own kitten.

Is this the 2025 equivalent of withdrawing your tax refund from the ATM and taking a pic of it spread out on your dining room table?
And yeah, a couple of them are muddy because ducks. I bought a golfball retrieval scoop last year for duck eggs harvesting, and it may be one of my best ideas yet.

Okay yes, I said I like duck eggs better but y'all didn't ALL have to lay today. Between my six ducks and two chickens, this is the equivalent of about 18 eggs. Send help

I took my family on a 6-day vacation to see extended family, and my cat has barely let me out of her sight since we got home. Usually, my dog is the clingier one.

This weekend's weather has been springlike, so I took the opportunity to dump the ice out of our duck pond, move it into Duck Jail, and refill it. It holds about 80 gallons and replaces the little black 15 gallon water tub propped up against the fence.
