I made a Substack account. I intend to start writing on it soon. I have always wanted to start a blog but my short attention span has been a handicap. Now, I want to resist the short-form of content pervasive on other platforms and contribute to the revival of casual yet slow and deliberate reading.

Last weekend, we went to Hawai’i Island (Big Island). We wanted to see the lava flow but we weren’t lucky. Still a magical trip. We saw the craters of Hawai’i volcanoes, cool petroglyphs at Pu’uloa, beautiful sunset atop Mauna Kea, and spent two nights at a remote BnB. Such a privilege to live here.

Please stop putting QR codes in your online posters, pub mats etc.! I’m seeing them on my phone, how am I gonna scan them?? Or if you really want to, add the link too! 😠
