Virginia State Senate Dems just brought down fire and fury regarding the “Compact,” notifying the President and Rector that UVA would lose ALL STATE APPROPRIATIONS if it signs and cedes the University to “federal political control.” Notably, their letter directly restates points made here by @siva.

The “compact” for higher ed is an unserious document written by unserious people from a position of spectacular ignorance. No one should take it seriously. Sadly, my bosses are taking it seriously.

3. Shock collars are a very common training method. So its plausible that this method has beem succesful at training kaya to sit for long periods during stream without her showing signs of distress. So may not be abuse per se but I personally would find that distasteful.

1. No idea, but shockcollars can vibrate or give a beep to remind instead of shock so if thats normally what he uses she may not yelp.

2. Very easy to place things out of camera view.

If you dont know how long the dog sits in the bed that's on camera and how often the streamer corrects her behavior on leaving then its not super helpful, I have owned dogs, I own a cat rn. I'm well aware they can get in the way and do annoying things.

Hasan certainly seems annoyed that she is leaving the bed in this clip, so how normal is that behavior is the question. I am sure it doesnt bother your wife when yout dog decides to chill with you.

Theres clearly a seperate black plastic unit underneath the white bit. Doesn't prove its a shock collar there are lots of different training/tracking/biometrics that aren't shocks but this doesn't prove that its not a shock. Theres video where the collar has a blinking light as well going around.
