Australia loses about $2 billion a year because there aren’t enough translators and interpreters. Courts, immigration and communication services don’t get enough funding and are struggling. The report says translators are undervaluated.

"Gimme” and “ta” look unusual, but they’re everyday English in the right context.
"Gimme" is a casual contraction of "give me," common in spoken, relaxed speech.
"Ta" is an informal British or Australian way to say "thank you."

We have entered the post-localization era. The time when language services such as written and oral translation defined the industry has passed, replaced by a new stage focused on comprehensive content solutions. This transition took shape around 2023.🥺

A new single-floor house with a slated roof and high ceiling creates a modern, airy feel inspired by recent Latvian designs. The straight wing keeps bedrooms quiet and private, while the curved living space brings softness, light, and openness.

Semicolon.
A semicolon connects two closely related independent clauses — and the second clause does not need a capital letter.
Use a semicolon when two full sentences are linked by transitional expressions like however, therefore, nevertheless, accordingly.

Don’t use a comma when a participial phrase is essential and comes right after the noun it describes.
“The man driving the bus didn’t stop.”
Here, driving the bus tells us which man, so no comma is allowed. Use commas only when the extra information is non-essential.

C u m u l a t i v e adjectives stack in a fixed order to build meaning—no commas.
C oo r d i n a ting adjectives are interchangeable, and you separate them with commas: a cold, windy morning.
If you can swap the adjectives or add “and,” they’re coordinating.
