Wondering what the next viral word will be that describes the kind of farming I do. Can we retire “regenerative” -
Feel this - the dream started 20 years ago when I quit division 1 basketball and dropped out of college to be a writer - I’m 46 now - counting on there not being an expiration date.
I started being regularly published when I was 25. I didn't make my first dollar writing until I was 30. I didn't sell my first novel or screenplay until I was 35. Many of you hadn't even heard of anything I'd written until I was over 40.
You have time. There is no expiration date on writers.

It’s gotten to where I want to spend all of my time up a tree. We use to make fun of hunting and dudes in camo - still not the camo type - but the wild quiet, the vigilant meditation - considering every bird call - every leaf russle. The discipline of sitting motionless in the cold.
