Today is my birthmas eve (please shower me with love and affection tomorrow, because you lot are my best friends), so here is a little joy from today.

I was in one of my favourite places in the world: The Magic Circle in London.

This is their super awesome helical staircase.

The steps are navy blue with light wood for the bannister. Right at the bottom is a circular image for the magic circle filled with strange looking symbols.

OurWorldInData chart showing historic Human Rights Index among Eastern European countries bordering with Russia since 1900. All of them made huge improvement 1920-1940, then huge drop as they were occupied by USSR, then again huge improvement after 1990. Russia remains low most of the time.

Als Antwerpenaren denken we gewoon niet ambitieus genoeg. Waarom zouden we onze lokale luchthaven niet combineren met een fietsbrug over de Schelde?
