Honestly if you’ve ever played or know of the world of darkness setting it’s almost like we have a secret cabal of supernatural dark powers running and ruining the world instead of the more banal true answers.

Truly a star citizen story. Weird bugs but fun despite it and sudden emergent group play in unexpected ways because the game is such a bundle of interesting if still buggy and incomplete systems.

Fair point. I’m honestly just trying to take away the best from a bunch of horrible situations.

I mean this is the correct approach. I think they're inadvertently achieving the stated small-government goal of getting government less involved in everything by making it so toxic that everybody is looking to disentangle. (Though obviously if you were reliant on grants/funds this is harder)

This is funny because I’ve been listening to the round table literally on a longer drive I’m on tonight and I’ve been very pleased. But I guess I’m a dirty casual and not “long term” enough of a 14 player too since I joined in SHB.

Yeah funny how forcing people to subscribe wasn't the answer. It was giving them control over the content they see. I do still worry how this place pays for itself over the long term, ads sure - but maybe some mix of sub and ad so people can choose their way to be monetized.

I wasn’t mad before. I was trying to not get over stimulated by social media and the news cycle. I’m mad now. This is a Kent state shooting level thing. This isn’t political. It’s basic decency. These people are monsters and there’s no defense for this.
