My tabs are broken again, and I missed this yesterday. Thank you BlueSky for showing me this a goddamn day later. WHAT IN THE FUCK IS THIS?!?!😭
veronicamcdonald.bsky.social
So help me out: how is Kamala Harris' book causing disunity in the Democratic Party?

And when would be the right time for her to have released the book?
veronicamcdonald.bsky.social
The only way Kamala Harris' book would cause "disunity" and discourage people from voting for the Democratic Party is if a certain bloc of people got disgusted at her alleged treatment and decided to sit out of the election.
veronicamcdonald.bsky.social
The Obama team couldn't stand the Biden team, so why would the Obama team be upset at Kamala Harris for blasting the Biden team?

The only Democrats that should be upset with the Kamala book should be people who were moving funny and most of those people already told on themselves.
veronicamcdonald.bsky.social
Help me out here. Sounds like the main people Kamala Harris put on blast in her book were Biden & his team.

Nobody likes Biden or his team; that's why they treated Biden the way they did.
veronicamcdonald.bsky.social
Political operatives and Obama strategists are why we're in the jam we're in today. No one should take any of those people seriously, as they haven't won any elections in almost over 20 years.

Why would Obama strategists be concerned Kamala destroyed her political career by putting people on blast?
thewanderingtog.bsky.social
Political fallout: The book has caused considerable consternation within the Democratic Party, ...operatives suggesting that its airing of grievances was a poor political strategy. ...former Obama strategists have suggested that the book served to settle scores rather than advance a political agenda
veronicamcdonald.bsky.social
So if nobody cares about Kamala Harris, why would her book cause Democratic disunity and why is everyone concerned she's burned bridges & destroyed her political career?

You haven't read the book but it seems like the only people she put on blast were the Biden people and no one likes them anyway:
thewanderingtog.bsky.social
Worried? Not at all.

At this point her 2028 options are all but non-existent, especially her new book, according to numerous Party sources.

She's pretty much burned too many bridges now and has effectively damaged her political career, likely irrevocably, based on what I'm now reading.

If Hakeem Jeffries had put his foot up Lawler's a$$ like white leftists want him to, you'd be screaming Jeffries was violent, aggressive, etc.

We know your tricks and games and we are unavailable to the coliseum. Go to the ring yourself:

Jeffries had a chance to humiliate this guy and this was the best he could do?

If you’re talking about the Midterms or the 2028 Presidential Election you’ve lost the plot at this point.
veronicamcdonald.bsky.social
So you don't know what her book says but you know that it will cause Democratic disunity.

Again, how would Kamala's book cause Democratic disunity? Are you concerned she will turn off potential voters by what you think is in the book (that you don't know because you've not read the book)?
thewanderingtog.bsky.social
Again, my comment is about the timing, that’s
T-I-M-I-N-G, of the release of this book right before a handful of special elections we Dems are counting on and at the beginning of the 2026 Midterms campaigns.

As for what it actually says, I’ll don’t really care. I’ll rely on book review summaries

You must be worried about a Kamala Harris nomination. Why?

The “compact” for higher ed is an unserious document written by unserious people from a position of spectacular ignorance. No one should take it seriously. Sadly, my bosses are taking it seriously.

White boys aren’t the only ones consuming right wing red pill media, it’s a lot of black boys falling into the pipeline too and more parents should give a fuck about it

First, you’ve said it’s unlikely she wins the 2028 primary because she refuses to earn the votes of people like you.

If MAGA wins in 2028, that would fall on whoever the 2028 nominee is and White Americans, not Kamala Harris:
free-parking.bsky.social
If she wins the 2028 primary (unlikely) and makes the same mistake she made in 2024 (refusing to try to earn votes of people who are skeptical of her) then she will lose and MAGA will win. Again. I'm a harm reduction voter, you don't have to worry about me. But I voted for her and she still lost.

The white folks who are living off scraps and hard times, they’ll make it through.

All of these suburban folks in the Lululemon, sipping Starbucks out of their exclusive Target Stanley cup, bragging about $800 car notes living in their overpriced modern farmhouse…naw, I don’t see it for them.
veronicamcdonald.bsky.social
I’m just amused people are stamping their feet demanding she fight and get out there on the front lines for a vote you’re not going to give to her anyway.

IF she runs again in 2028, she’s not going to be asking for your vote anyway, so what is this furor? LOL
free-parking.bsky.social
Ok, fair enough. If she doesn't run in 2028 it's a moot point but I think it's highly likely that she will.
veronicamcdonald.bsky.social
Including Progressives/The Left. They benefit greatly from white supremacy too.
brosephus.bsky.social
This could have all been avoided by voting Democrats into power last November. However, most of America either wanted this new white supremacy based conservatism or were too indifferent to be concerned enough to stop it from growing roots.

veronicamcdonald.bsky.social
Yeah I don’t think so.
brosephus.bsky.social
The end result of this is that now white America will get to experience exactly what Black America has been through for centuries.

I hope you are all mentally tough enough to withstand the abuse and strong enough to fight back under duress. The future of America depends on that.

Good luck.

Didn’t you say Kamala Harris lost the 2020 primaries? She lost the 2024 election so why do you think she’s also going to run in 2028? Wouldn’t she get the same result as in 2020 and 2024?

Why does she need to fight?
free-parking.bsky.social
It does matter how hard she fights, actually. If you don't want the Democratic Party to fight, what is the point of having a party? Just to roll over for Republicans?

No we have to fight.

But sure. She can go back to brunch. But she will lose the next election. Again.
veronicamcdonald.bsky.social
She’s not an elected official so I’m trying to understand why she. Res to “fight.”

And when you say she needs to “fight,” what exactly does she need to do?
