Would using AI to animate my old art as reference material be bad? I’m stoked to see the characters in motion and it makes me want to stick with the designs I’ve already made. Not ment to be final product.

@tasvr.bsky.social one thing I liked doing with character sketches was to add thicker outlines or extra bits around the character. Always mad designs pop a little more on a blank sheet of paper. You should play with the idea. Also try adding shadows under characters for full body sketches.

Holy cow how time flies.
My new job has me working 12-13 hour shifts & working about 4-5 shifts a week. when I’m off work I’m usually pretty wiped. Who knew making paper was so hard. Though all this overtime has my weekly pay doubled from my last job. Soon I’ll have new art supplies.

At war with my cat.
He has become my greatest barrier to drawing literally anything & he’s getting bolder. Now if I leave any drawing supplies out he’s going to knock everything down. Then when I go to draw he hopes up while I’m in the middle of drawing smudging everything.

God I love space.
It’s so much crazier than most average people think about how crazy it is. Same with how people don’t think about small stuff. We usually think about stuff we can physically carry.
I think a lot about this stuff to put into character design.

Found this old gem. Lost the original sketch so had to pull up an old post from Facebook to get it. I think this was a D&D character concept. God I love drawing masks. You can do things with mask designs that don’t work with a not

Drew out the main characters of my story once in a simple style to know who was important. Then went and rewrote the whole story making this no longer relevant. Need to draw an updated sheet… sheets. Pretty sure I’ve at least tripled the amount of relevant characters.
