The failure by US voters and politicians to recognize and act on this fact and the simultaneous choice by oligarchs and other superempowered elites in American and global affairs to enable and back Trump must therefore be seen as one of the great calamities of modern times.

Remember when folks believed that MAGA was about "no foreign wars and no foreign interventions?" But the moment Dear Leader says we should intervene everywhere and use force if necessary, suddenly everyone in MAGA and most in the GOP have decided that's a great idea & let's do it. 🤦‍♀️
