Sigh* Imagine every step of what you do at your place of employment was met with disgust disappointment or outright disrespect… It kills me how horrific the leadership at this company appears to be.

Micromanagement kills. Real leaders respect and cultivate creative environments, not burn them.
🚨NEW: Ex-Bungie dev says Marathon leadership was "extremely toxic and humiliating" to work with: "Bungie leadership needs to be gutted completely" - thegamepost.com/ex-bungie-de...

Always a great reminder!
If you love a game, console, etc. it doesn't matter what ANYONE else thinks about it.

Some people cannot accept someone else enjoying something they don't. They demean others for committing the crime of *checks notes* HAVING FUN.

Just enjoy what makes you happy and ignore angry narcissists. 👍

The common denominator is and will always be a company’s C suite, which in gaming continues to obliterate creativity and expertise in lieu of monetization, while simultaneously nurturing toxic work environments. Want profit? Trust and let your devs cook. Such a shame.

The ENTIRE purpose of this event is to provide ACCESS to premiere content at an ACCESSIBLE difficulty level. Thus incentivizing the ladder climb for this and future premiere content. This is a good change. Learn from this please.
Rite of the Nine Update: Last night, a change was applied to enable weapon loot drops from enemies defeated within the Spire of the Watcher Dungeon.

This includes chances for Holofoils in Explore mode, and chances for Adepts and Holofoil Adepts at higher difficulties.

Good hunting, Guardians.

Looking through even my own footage from the alpha, the iconography was just pulled from this talented artist in numerous cases. It’s a real shame. Make it right and for goodness sakes LEARN from this. Be better…
We immediately investigated a concern regarding unauthorized use of artist decals in Marathon and confirmed that a former Bungie artist included these in a texture sheet that was ultimately used in-game.

Simple call… good job making it and stop doing things that take the wind out of the momentum sails please
Starting today, our planned Rite of the Nine Dungeon Calendar will be changing. Each Dungeon will be featured for two weeks as opposed to three, and we are increasing Nonary Manifold currency drop rates which can be exchanged for additional weapons.

This is sooooooo senseless… Like, why? There is no point to the attunement process and only dilutes the replay value of EACH dungeon. To add fuel to the fire, attrition is one of the biggest turnoff burns for any content in the game… stop gating the content…
🚨Rite of the Nine dungeon rotation:

- Spire of the Watcher: May 6 to May 27
- Ghosts of the Deep: May 27 to June 17
- Prophecy: June 17 to July 8
- Final Week (All Dungeons Available): July 8 to July 15

While I am a bit late to this news… It… is worth noting that the train station discussion from him revolved around how to avoid dev burnout. Regardless, the trajectory we have seen from heresy has me hopeful but I am still concerned by this.
🚨 NEW: Justin Truman is now VP of Destiny at Bungie. He previously served as the studio's Chief Development Officer.

He replaces Mark Noseworthy, who reportedly left alongside Luke Smith following the cancellation of Destiny: Project Payback.

Played a lot over the weekend. Most fun I have had in PvP in a very long time.
Pilot a Fallen Brig or a Drake Tank in our new, highly explosive 3v3 PvP mode.

Heavy Metal is now available for all players. 💥
