He started college at 18 but didn't graduate until I was 3 years old, 6 years later. School was difficult for him. He never read to us as children, that was for my mother (an elem school teacher). He can read, he just struggles to retain as he's reading.

My dad, now 79, is not a good reader. I've always thought maybe an undiagnosed learning disability. He did graduate college and went on to be a highly successful hospital administrator. But his reading ability still bothers him and I hate that he's never been able to experience the joy from reading.

I don't hear any real chatter about Heupel on the hot seat. No SEC Championship game, can't beat UGA, 2-2 in Bowl games, barely above .500 against ranked teams. Yet the UT Athletics page gushes over his "remarkable revival" of the team. Um. Maybe it's a 5 year plan but he better bring it next year.

They routinely show up at my brother's door, unaware that they're at the wrong door. They routinely stumble around the parking area, shouting and raising general hell at 2:00 am. It's really gross that people defend it because it personally benefits them.
