My plan: if he brings up his job on Capitol Hill in the Trump regime, I will quietly leave the room. I will not engage. I made a promise to my mother and I will keep it.
Tiny neighbor's parents began teaching her to sign months ago...and she's not deaf! But it helped her communicate b4 she had the ability to speak & communicating w/ her is important. She does say words now, new ones daily, but she still signs. Why would parents not want to meet their child's needs?
I just read that only like 10% of hearing parents who have a Deaf child learn to sign. What????

In 2 days I'll spend Thanksgiving w/ a family member who works directly for the TN MAGA Congressional regime. My mother asked one thing of me & after much thought, I've decided my mother's happiness is more important than asking him if pushing bigotry all day every day is as exhausting as it seems.

Christmas memory: My brothers and I used to count gifts under the tree to make sure they were even. One year, my dad decided to get clever and he and my mom numbered them. No names on tags, just numbers. They then promptly lost the list of which numbers went with each of us 😂
