Horror and visual novel game developer and enjoyer - (Don't) Open Your Eyes, radio.signal. Cis/bi, he/him.

Also games, manga, films, stuff
There's some major story changes that are just weird because it's something this franchise just shamelessly does in inevitable sequels, all the time!

We groan about it, but it's sometimes cool and doesn't affect the original experience too much. So why do this...?

People often remember Ornstein and Smough in DS1 being hard.

But the truly evil/fun part is that to even get to them you need to walk across ceilings while a hundred clowns shoot knifes at yo and dodge through huge projectiles while avoiding falling in a game with a dubious definition of "jumping".

This reminds me, I should re-read and catch up on Sakamoto Days.

The main story was a bit whatever where I left off, but the characters are good, and the action is INSANELY good. Some of the best action paneling and art I've seen in Jump.

Oh shit, did they actually get the Sakamoto Days artist to draw these pages? That's pretty cool

Now that I think about it, FaH is the kind of game that is oddly missing from these discussions, probably for being niche.

It's definitely the kind of game that SHOULD get criticized for "bad difficult", if only the bullshit aspects weren't core part of the game.
