Met het intrekken van de uitnodiging van Tofik Dibi als spreker bij de herdenking van de Februaristaking begaat het landelijk bestuur van de FNV een grote fout. Het is beschamend om te zien hoe makkelijk ze zich laten misleiden door valse framing. Hier de mailconversatie: From: Misha Velthuis Subject: Stop inmenging en herstel vakbondsdemocratie To: [email protected] Date: Mon, 02 Feb 2026 12:41:51 Geacht FNV-bestuur, Ik ben verontwaardigd over uw besluit om het Amsterdamse FNV-herdenkingscomité van de Februaristaking te dwingen de uitnodiging aan Tofik Dibi in te trekken. Door toe te geven aan druk van lobbyorganisaties als het CIDI en het NIW ondermijnt u de autonomie van lokale netwerken en breekt u met kernwaarden van de FNV: democratie, internationale solidariteit en antifascisme. De Februaristaking herdenken zonder de koppeling met hedendaagse strijd tegen racisme en onderdrukking is onhistorisch en ongeloofwaardig. Door mee te gaan in deze lastercampagne draagt het FNV-bestuur bovendien bij aan de criminalisering van solidariteit met Palestijnen.
