I was looking for a new story to read on Royal Road and saw a promising one. In the first few lines of the description, "The cover was generated using ai technology." Immediately dipped. I do not understand writers who use ai. Do you just have no respect for creativity outside of your domain?

Why do video games cost so much to make these days? A recent NYT article pinned bloated budgets on the graphical arms race, but that's only a small part of the equation. The real problem? Rampant mismanagement.

The 2v8 experience in the hit horror game Dead by Daylight! 7 gens and the killers are hard slugging, refusing to pick anyone until they were about to bleed out. I spent most of this game slugged. Why are people playing like this in 2v8?

How much player agency is too little or too much? I am writing an interactive game about a hunter. Should I be prepared to give the player the option to not want to hunt or to have a major issue with hunting?
Or should I focus on writing the PC as I intended, a hunter with no major qualms
