My husband has a box he stacks with to be shredded items. At the end of the week he will shred them and use the shreddings to start a fire in the firebowl. Makes a great fire starter.

I agree that as white kids we had advantages. My folks moved to NoVa when I was young. While I grew up inside the Capitol Beltway, my folks were still products of the mtns & that's the way we were raised. What he rights abt is BS. As if he thinks that's the culture of the mtns. It's just offensive.
