I don’t see why anyone would want to vacation in the US given the direction this country is headed.

I walk into any place and there’s any Fox, Newsmax or any MAGA shit at any business and I walk out. There is nothing they sell or service they provide that I need that badly.

Triangulation is definitely doable. It’s meaningless with a pay as you go burner phone. You can even get a burner smartphone. Pay cash. They can track a no name ghost. Baseball caps with hoodies easily defeat cameras. Go stand @ McDonald’s parking lot and use their WiFi with a burner, hat and hoodie

You can carry a hand held one way GPS like a Garmin. Even an old Magellan would work. GPS in its purest form is down link only.

They have plenty of pre-paid at Dollar General. Once you have the phone, you can get the carrier. Consumer Cellular has flip phones. AARP has flip phones.

I can hail a taxi, take a bus or subway, kiosks in hotels are now being developed. The concierge hooks you up. At the airport and hotel there were taxis all lined up at the curb. Taxis everywhere. Same in Jacksonville FL and Pittsburgh.

Google has to be the worst for tracking. Every click is identified as you, catalogued and sold. Same with their maps.

I never use a google anything. I don’t use FB, FaceTime, YouTube or any social media. my safari, duck duck go and VPN work great. I usually drive long distances to places I’m familiar so I have transportation without rentals. If I’m not familiar, I fly and uber and stay with friends and relatives.

I just went to Pittsburgh last summer. Got hooked up with everything I needed. Didn’t need it. At the PA welcome center, I got maps. I have the motorcycle and plus coverage since I live in a rural area. 100 mile tow. I don’t want my wife and daughters stranded in the middle of nowhere.
