I don't think I posted this or formally showed this character off here in particular but their name is Fallow. Edgy synthetic soldier from a weird incubation factory that shut down - I mull over ideas related to a character designed to fight in a world that has moved past war with this one.

The base suit is primarily skin tight black with metallic armored bits at the knees and shoulders, a hard but thin chestplate, and cuffs at the ankles and wrist. the helmet is a large ovular bubble with a horn at the top and a screen-like closed eye on the side. a halo wraps with a wide radius around the neck. without the helmet, a solemn, gloomy looking rabbit face is revealed. in clothing, Fallow wears tall, knee high boots, and multiple layers of cloaks/jacket pieces to cover up.

it's the worst when industry expectations bleed into individual art to the point of creating semantic traps that forget that artists are not beholden to rules on what/how to make anything. even the spicy stuff like "accessibility" which is a topic that the conversation almost always derails horribly

absolutely drop the class, better to suffer the stress of re-fitting your schedule to a better one than deal with the full semester of some garbage that isn't worth your time or money. even if it's just some elective filler to finish off some credit requirement, that's def more worthwhile

if i had a nickel for every time i followed a game dev for firing some off the cuff opinion that got folks heated because the tone and level of conviction didn't translate but got me thinking (whether i agreed or not) i'd have... way more than two. yours was coyote time lol (not a bad take fwiw)
