The EPA says that it will now ignore health benefits and lives saved, and instead only factor in business costs when making new rules on air pollution limits. This is so reckless and make us all sicker.

I said to Trump he was an embattled and courageous leader. We in the United States have not seen a leader like him since Abraham Lincoln.

Ukrainian lawmakers and commentators are divided on whether to celebrate the U.S. capture of Nicolás Maduro, the Venezuela president and Russian ally, or to condemn a military intervention, as they have asked the world to do since Russia invaded Ukraine in 2022.

After 9/11, the US invoked Article 5 of the NATO treaty and every NATO member helped to combat terrorism.

Some of our closest allies, like Denmark, went even further, voluntarily sending troops to Afghanistan and Iraq in support of US-led wars there.

Today, Trump is threatening to attack Denmark.

Amid the tumult caused by one invasion with several more threatened, Trump is hoping Americans will forget about the Epstein files, which should be called the Trump Files since he is going to such great lengths to keep them hidden.

Don't let Trump distract us. Demand that the files be released!

By driving away all of our closest allies, Trump is making America weak and insecure.

Bluster and bullying do not equal strength--in international relations any more than on the elementary school playground where Trump's brain is.

It's interesting that Russia withdrew all of its personnel from Venezuela exactly 14 days before Trump's invasion. China didn't withdraw their personnel. Cuba didn't withdraw theirs. Just Russia.

It is almost as if someone called Putin to warn him what's up as part of a quid pro quo.

Not almost.

During Fiona Hill's testimony to Congress on Oct 14, 2019, she described how Trump and Putin discussed exchanging Ukraine for Venezuela. The quid pro quo was if Trump refuses to help Ukraine fight off a Russian invasion, Putin would not help Venezuela (a Russian ally) resist a US takeover.

The reason is clear. Trump does not want a strong, independent leader dedicated to helping the people of Venezuela as president. He wants a lackey who is complete beholden to him so that he can proceed to plunder the nation's wealth to line his pocket and those of his billionaire supporters.

María Machado won the last election in Venezuela by a landslide only to be targeted by Nicholas Maduro, who stole the election from the people of Venezuela.

If Trump really cared about democracy or human rights, he would have already invited Machado back. Instead, he declared that he will not.
