Absolutely in love with the eventing too. I tried to inspire from RPG Maker in terms of event triggers and it's been a joy to work with. When reaching the "Content" stage of the project, in which the systems are in place, but you need to make the actual game, it's a super cute foundation.

Originally coming from #monogame, it is SUCH a joy to be working with #Godot. Resources are one of the most powerful feature that's being used for any data whatsoevs. I use it for items, dialogue, quests, skills, equipment, battle actors, ..you get the idea.

I'm amazed by how well this actually worked.. Did quite some tasks that I've been putting off for a long time. Will prolly unironically do it again and I'd recommend others to try it as well.

After about a decade of #gamedev and #gamedesign experience, I have finally managed to find the perfect way of getting your priorities straight. Sometimes there's just too many tasks at hand that it's tough to find out what to focus on, soooo.. #indiedev

Also here's some background documentation for the extra cute among you. Initially, I was planning to commish this editor, but then again it was too much fun to pass up on.. The content of the game MVP is completely planned out and the engine code is about 95% done. Love uuu

So as it turns out, manually writing a whole bunch of dialogue in json files just really ain't that much fun. Soooo I might as well throw in some future modding tools, which also help with creating the game itself~ c: #gamedev #indiedev #nsfw #adult #adultgames #CiwdtH (ugly colors for layouting <3)
