Sounds like a pretty good idea! Are you planning to utilize 3d backgrounds for a 2.5D approach? I feel like a bit of very subtle camera panning in a 3d environment with 2D billboards can really give it a lot of depth! Either way, looking solid so far 💙

Absolutely in love with the eventing too. I tried to inspire from RPG Maker in terms of event triggers and it's been a joy to work with. When reaching the "Content" stage of the project, in which the systems are in place, but you need to make the actual game, it's a super cute foundation.

I do like what Tales of Tei by Pinchmaker did when it comes to QTEs, in which things are somewhat timed. Bit of mashing, bit of timing. Yess I think that's fairly workable!
