1981-1985 BT&F S1 does not happen yet. I plan on doing a miniseries showing what happened between S7 of the TV series and S1 of BT&F.

Seasons 1-7 are cannon to Bachmann Thomas and Friends. Season 8 onwards is not canon. Although, some characters from S9-11 will appear in the future.

Sodor and add new characters and locations if the story requires them.

An issue that I have with a majority of the CGI Thomas movies, is that they feature lots of new characters and locations that overshadow the already established ones from the model series. So with the movies in Bachmann Thomas and Friends, I try to write a story that focuses on what is currently on

Kinda like how S9 was filmed alongside CAE and S11 was filmed with TGD, New Controller of the Railway was produced alongside Season 3. However, Season 3 takes place before the movie, like S11 and TGD. This will also be the case with Season 4 and another special which I will announce soon.

Seasons 1-3 of BT&F is consistent with this character development and moving on to Season 4, I can definitely say, after the movie, that Thomas has matured completely but still cheeky at times.

Speaking of Thomas’ character arc, his growth from S1-5 is present in Bachmann Thomas and Friends. As for Magic Railroad to S7, he still is cheeky and flawed, but as grown since the beginning.

Thomas will have a major character arc in the film. When the other engines give complaints about Mr. Bardeno he feels like nobody respects him, and after a big crash and realizing what happened to STH, he realizes his behavior.

The plot was inspired a movie called After I watched with a friend. The film follows Hardin who wants to have a relationship with a woman named Tessa although she already has a boyfriend. Although the movie is not really a romantic story, as I watched it, I began to wonder as to what would happen

The voice of the movie’s main antagonist, Mr. Brian Bardeno, is inspired by the voice of Dr Doofenshirtz from Phineas and Ferb. I choose this channel because this character is the villain but also comedic.
