When I first started my YouTube channel back in 2022, I felt embarrassed to tell my real life friends or anyone that I am a fan of Thomas and Friends given how it's being treated like every other kids show nowadays. But since last year, I've begun to feel more confident in sharing with others

On this day 41 years ago, late creator Britt Allcroft and director David Mitton first created a television show about Thomas the Tank Engine and his friends adapted from The Railway Series! So Happy 41st Anniversary to Thomas and Friends and may your legacy continue for generations to come! 📺🚂🛤️💙

It may have possibly been confirmed or not: A new Thomas & Friends television series is currently in the works at Mattel and is scheduled to be released sometime in 2026. The project will be a "thrilling new journey that is set to delight fans old and new."

It has been confirmed that Duck (planned cameo) and Cranky were two other characters planned to appear in Thomas and the Magic Railroad but they were dropped. Locations planned to appear in the film were Tidmouth Lighthouse, The Waterfall, Brendam Docks and Ffarquhar Quarry.
