Ever since reports about Sega's AI division started coming out, I knew this was a matter of time and what was said in the article itself doesn't lend me much confidence to that. Remember kids, the only appropriate use case for GenAI is not at all.
Sega says it will start implementing efficient development methods, including the use of AI.
However, because it knows AI use "faces strong resistance in creative areas", it pledges to only use it in "appropriate use cases".
