As well as this, I feel quite strongly that the increased prominence in recent years of social media influencers who engage in nothing but ragebait content and harassment has proverbially sucked all the air out of the room, content mills producing bullshit at speed who dominate gaming conversations.

It's sad to see so many replies to this are people thinking that every game ever made is either a F2P time sink or costs $70-$80. There is a plethora of phenomenal games at lower price points that people only ignore because they aren't being produced by billion dollar companies

maybe i'm too woke but it kinda annoys me when clearly genderqueer characters are given the "oh their gender is up to interpretation :)" treatment. it just comes off as so "we don't want to anger people who cannot read"
