Two months ago, the trees were full of leaves, and they were green. Now, many of them are yellow. Some have fallen off entirely. If you ask about this, you're told it's because of "autumn." No one had ever heard of "autumn" before this year. And you're not allowed to say this doesn't make sense.

There is a bush outside my apartment taht is home to dozens of rats. I call it the rat bush. I have come to view it as a minor nature deity and I rely on its sage advice. The man asks "oh rat bush, do I truly deserve affection?" All the rats in the rat bush start squeaking in unison. The man tears up, pumps his fist and says happily "you're right rat bush, I am worthy of love!" The rat bush continues to squeak.
