I think Russ is keen to run another Heresy event in the near future so hopefully that'll be a weekend you can make it.

As you're just using them for basing I'd say you're probably good with using whatever bits TBH. But I'm more about getting the feel right rather than being a total stickler for details.

It sorta depends. A few Legions started to get a bit weird pre-Istvaan III. Some didn't show any corruption until after Istvaan V and some weren't spikey until in to the Long War. And then there's the Night Lords...

Yeah I'm currently thinking these and the new Emperor's Children minis mashed together along with some other odds and ends would make some cool Emperor's Children for Siege of Terra.

They're going to be really useful for Heresy too. Great for traitor Legions later in the Heresy, chaosy but not too chaosy.

Fulmentarus terminators. Which lore wise are Guilliman's improved version of the Tyrant Siege terminators so kinda? 😄

Yeah Ultras are a bit unique for a loyalist Legion that made changes to their iconography as the Heresy goes on.

But it's the biggest Legion and despite being very regimented probably has a huge amount of variation so do what you feel looks cool.

Red heads for sgts is a post Calth thing. And potentially only for Chapters that were at Calth.

White can be used as a veteran colour but doesn't seem all that universally used. Does look cool though.

Unlike a lot of other Legions black seems to be mostly used for Destroyers.

They're the new MkII plastics with some 3D printed heads.
