Not only did I get to see the Orioles beat the Yankees this evening, but DUNKIN’ was giving out free $5 gift cards and pairs of these ridiculous sunglasses outside of Camden Yards!

Did anyone in the 1980s ever watch “Unico in the Island of Magic?" It was Japanese anime featuring a young unicorn named Unico who battles an evil magician named Lord Kuruku, who wants to turn all living creatures into undead puppets. It was super dark for a child to be watching & it was always on!

In my continued quest to read as many of @foreignaffairs.com’s “The Best Books of 2024” as I can, I’ve now moved on to a biography of a man that I have never actually heard of before: Frantz Fanon!
