(There is also a direct correlation with Outdoor Industry job positions not advertising pay scales, and award levels in job advertisements, but that's a whole other discussion.)

❝ far from financially lucrative ❞ - this is especially true for the entry level career positions generally filled with new Cert III & Cert IV graduates. Outdoor facilitation & guiding is definitely an industry that is supported via financial security made from other career areas.

It does have Wilson Hall (1956) as an on campus ceremonial hall, this replaced the original Wilson Hall (1882) which was destroyed by a fire in 1952.
