honestly a good pick!! Mine is Northern Flicker. Very shy and humble looking until they fly over you. Underside of their wings and tail feathers are a beautiful red.

this thread probably sounds crazy. I spent an hr trying to convey that my years long issues w/ disassociation/depression/dysphoria and new chronic pain can sometimes be broken by the sheer earth shattering reality jumping back to I get from art but it is so hard to put into words

Today I used a cane in place of forcing myself to walk in pain for hours, despite maxing on otc pain relief options. Today I walked the dog after work w/out pain. Didnt use the stairs handrail. Enjoyed the snowfall outside. Saw my neighbors building a snow fort at 9 pm while their son played near by
