A ★★½ review of Frogman (2023)
So, I really appreciate what Frogman is trying to do. And I love, love, love the setup. And I love, love, love the end. But it does a bit too good of a job of recreating that thing in Found Footage mo...

You should feel embarrassed that it takes 5 of you to corral a middle aged woman with a cane and a megaphone.

You should be even more embarrassed that once you figured out that she was live streaming it, the best you could muster was asking her what the shade of her hair color is, Martinez.

On Nov. 4, every Boise voter will get to weigh in on whether to continue the decades-long legacy of preserving open space in the city through a third levy. City officials estimate the average homeowner would pay an extra $40 annually for the levy.

It's also reasonable to not want to live next to bigots, but unfortunately there's no unmarked van coming to drag people from their homes just for being racist pieces of shit.
Vance says it is "totally reasonable and acceptable" for people to not want to live next door to people who speak a different language than they do

I was shocked that I'd made it this far into October and only just got around to watching an anthology, until I realized I was blocking out Scare Package 2.

This isn't perfect, but it was a far better time than that was.

Cat's Eye (1985)

How was this so good? It is basically You’re Next with sharks. I’m gonna make so many people watch this.

I've been hearing praise for [REC] since it came out, so it's all the more impressive that it lived up to the hype.

When I think of post-2000's zombie movies, this is right up there with 28 Days Later and Train to Busan.

A ★★★★½ review of [REC] (2007)
Finally caught up with this one and wow did it live up to the hype.  There is one scene, involving the main character being way too confused about some information she’s discovered (and honestly her l...

A ★★★ review of Infested (2023)
I have never seen a bunch of Letterboxd reviews peg a movie so accurately. Characters that aren’t that compelling. A 3rd act that trades tension for cheese.  But when the movie is working? Mainly in t...

Just out of the frame on the pic’s right third floor would be the office window that was my better half’s for 3 decades.

So sad to see the rampant anti-intellectualism that’s destroying higher ed in #Idaho 😢
The Republican supermajority would rather hand out reckless tax giveaways to the wealthy than fight for the next generation. Now, Idaho students will pay the price.
