It's just wild, because in most ways our state is pretty progressive, but yet there's *just enough* right wing presence and ideology to remind us that, outside of the twin cities, things can get pretty red.

Funny thing, just before my 16th birthday, a girl hit me over the head with her book and her bf who was way taller than me punched me in the back of the head. I lost my cool and swung, but his grabbing me threw my aim off. No one saw the punch.
