OK time for predictions:
- Dead: Faith, Wood
- Alive: Entire main cast including Spike (long shot) and Giles (probably overdue tbh)
- The First is sealed away but not fully defeated
- Willow does scary magic, but keeps a lid on her dark side
- Kristine Sutherland cameo

S7E21 “End of Days” - I have negative things to say on this ep, but first: I’ve loved getting to know this show. I can see why it means so much to so many people.

Ok, to be negative:
- So the Guardian doesn’t help at all and then she dies? Ok
- This Angel appearance is so lame.

S7E20 “Touched” - The last few eps of this season have had too much of characters delivering speeches to each other. THAT SAID, when Spike says “when I say I love you… it has nothing to do with me.” I melt.

S7E19 “Empty Places” - I get that Buffy recently led everyone into a trap that killed several people, but her suggestion that the vineyard is important is logical and nobody else offers a valid counterpoint. Her friends really just suck.

S7E18 “Dirty Girls” - Nathan Fillion is so good. He should have been in every ep this season. (pic unrelated)

S7E17 “Lies My Parents Told Me” - WEIRD MOM STUFF! BAD! DON’T LIKE IT!

S7E16 “Storyteller” - I like Andrew and I feel like his ‘redemption’ has been handled pretty well. I think this ep ends up being stronger than ‘Superstar’ overall, even if that ep had some funnier moments.

S7E15 “Get It Done” - I have a feeling that the slayer lore that we learn here is controversial. I don’t hate it, but I think it makes the gender politics of this show even messier in a bad way.

S7E14 “First Date” - Did Spike stop painting his nails when he got a soul? Booooooo.

S7E13 “The Killer in Me” - This was kind of pt 2 of the ‘Willow faces a magical manifestation of her guilt’ saga. I like the idea on paper, but it felt like a bit of a mess. Amy sucks, and the ep felt crowded with B and C-plots

Glad that Giles is (probably) not a ghost

S7E12 “Potential” - This was a good Dawn ep. I tend to feel bad for Michelle Trachtenberg because they don’t give her character nearly the level of depth that high schoolers had in the early seasons of the show, but our perspective as the viewer has shifted.
