Still an amazing game, what can I say? Apart from the music and the beam/missile balance, it's almost everything you could ask for from Metroid.

I was really excited at one point, but it ended up fading away eventually. I still want to get to it at some point, but between getting busy with other games, it not staying faithful to the battle system, and Horizon getting closer, I don't feel the drive for it right now.

It's not exactly the most portable system in the world either. Playing in another room is about all I ever bother with undocked.

Yep, it's tons of fun! I normally do these games "properly," so it's a whole different experience getting everything out of order.

His JP VA in The 3rd is actually the same as the 5th Anguis. Not like there's no VAs that handle multiple characters, but it's a bit suspicious.

Could definitely be something odd like that, maybe with someone's mind pushed in? The one thing you have to account for is this one moment where Campy absentmindedly implies he's a girl before correcting himself.
