New intro thread!

Hi! I'm #bigender, which I put up front to explain the two names. I mostly go by "Ian" professionally, so don't get a lot of opportunity to take "Sìne" (sheena) out for a spin. He/she.

I do world-building, and dabble in graphic design, mostly for shitposting reasons.

We see in other media -- like Tron: Evolution or Tron: Uprising -- that there were two symbols. They're stylized versions of the ♀️ female and ♂️ male symbols.

The only thing that really distinguishes one from another visually is that ISOs have a mark on their upper arm. Since Quorra is the last ISO, we only see hers in the film:

In 2010's Tron: Legacy, there are essentially two kinds of programs: Basics, programs created by the User, who have defined roles and directives; and ISOs, programs that arose from the Sea of Simulation, evolved by the system itself. They have a higher degree of self-determination.
