I cannot explain how excited I am for Wildwood. It is going to single-handedly get me through 2026. Laika’s movies have always been an inspiration or me- Paranorman is one of my top ten of all time. The sneak peek makes me want to break out my old DIY stopmotion rigs and shoot some stuff. 🎥🎬

I did buy Hades 2, Dragon Quest 1-2 remake, Yooka-Replaylee, Iwakura Aria, Mistonia’s Hope, Atelier Resleriana, Date Everything, Dispatch, and Digimon Story Time Stranger, but haven’t gotten far enough in any of them to recommend (besides Digimon, that’s A+ even only 10hrs in). Maybe this year!

More lunch break books!! This week it @bethhetland.bsky.social’s “Tender” and @jamesthefourth.bsky.social’s “The Deviant” (v1). Had to read these with my back to the wall, but loved them!! The pacing of Tender was delightfully unsettling and The Deviant was a bloody treat. Two thumbs up!! 👍

Just finished @kyledhiggins.bsky.social’s Moon Man (v1) and @remender.bsky.social’s The Holy Roller! Both are pretty topical, and are about as subtle as a brick to the face (but unfortunately read no less true). Great books! I think I prefer the readability of Roland Boschi’s pencils for Roller tho.

I know Takeshi Koike’s Lupinverse is devisive and is mostly bad but I’m fully two cakes about anything he puts out because the man can direct an action scene and I have low Lupin standards
